Hi. It's cold outside here in Ottawa
-- minus 18°C, or 0°F for the past week -- and we've
got a lot of snow, but it certainly makes it feel like the
holiday season is upon us. I hope your preparations are coming
together well and that you're finding time to enjoy with friends
and family.
I have most of my gift shopping done,
with only a few odds and ends to pick up. Mostly, I've
orderd on-line. My sons love that they can tell me something
obscure they want for a friend or their Dad and I can
usually find it! Also, I have little patience for crowded
shopping mall, and even less time, especially since
my latest project was due to my publisher on December
15th! I handed that over to my editor yesterday. That
book is PLEASURE BOUND and will be out next November.
News
In addition to my St. Martin's
books, I have made some new sales. Six stories (5 books and
1 novella) will be coming out from Sinful Moments Press (an
imprint of Lachesis Publishing) over the next year or so.
These are re-releases of books I had with a previous publisher
under the author name Elizabeth
Batten-Carew. Each story will have a brand new
cover and will be clearly marked as an "Opal Carew Classic"
so readers will know this is a re-release.
